Speaking of iTunes, re my mention of Prince above, I've got my iTunes running listening to Prince's "Baby I'm a Star" as I write. Anyway, about Prince, didn't he do a great half-time show at the Super Bowl? Real trooper Prince was performing in the pouring rain. I did pick up on the irony of his performing "Purple Rain" under the circumstances. Perfect.

Poop on those people who bothered to try to make something dirty out of Prince's performance. I think it's *their* minds that are dirty. Jeez. (Yes, I know Prince's has had his naughties in the long-ago past. Again - jeez. Sometimes people just seem compelled to look for the negative.)

Anyway - I'm looking forward to the Grammys tonight. I've even got some of the music - listening now to a song from John Mayer's "Continuim" as I now write. Got Mayer's music video for "Waiting for the World to Change." Also have a couple of Red Hot Chili Pepper's songs from their nominated "Stadium Arcadium", listening to "Snow (Hey Oh)" now - I listen to this one over and over, and over and over. (BTW, what the heck are the lyrics about? Whatever.)

Gee, I'm even missing "Desperate Housewives" in order to watch the Grammys...

P.S.: John Mayer had better win something, as he's nominated multiplily, and is certainly talented and deserving. BTW, a relative? Who knows? Would be at most a distant in-law, such as a cousin-in-law. He does look like the Mayer branch of our family... ?

After traveling a very long and winding road the Apples have finally come together.

The Beatles have been entirely too absent from the online world - this is long overdue. Everybody else is out there (among their contemporaries) - the Stones, Dylan, the Beach Boys... So many more.

The good/bad news for me is that I already do have most of my Beatle favs on CD ready to rip. I'm cheap, but I'm lazy. ; )

Do you like singing? Dancing? Really Good Animation? Penguins? Elijah Wood? (you won't recognize him, however), Robin Williams? (recognizable even in peguin guise; BTW, he's as good here as he was in "Aladdin" it appears, sings pretty good, too), the great tap-dancer Savion Glover?

I haven't seen this movie yet, but plan to. The clips are great (see above link), and hearing Stevie Wonder sing through THX in a movie theater would be a happy thing in itself.

New Music Shirts!

More Long Sleeve T-Shirts. More Women's T-Shirts (also Women's Long Sleeve T-Shirts). More Dark T-Shirts. Still more color choices.

And, new color choices have been added to the Men's Dark T-Shirts (Navy, Khaki Green), Ash Grey has been added as an additional color choice to the Men's White Long Sleeve T-Shirts. The new Men's Long Sleeve T-Shirts come in either Black or Navy.

White Long Sleeve T-Shirts and Black T-Shirts now come in Women's sizes, with Women's Dark Long Sleeve T-Shirts coming in Black or Brown.

It's a lot to digest, even for me!

The new CafePress merchandise was added just last night. I've some examples of the new additions in the section linked to above, find more in the "NEW NEW NEW section" in "Sales & Features" on the Music Stuff & More storefront.

BTW, IMHO, the "gold" treble clef (and, surely, all the "gold" graphics...) look great on all the new colors. : D Check it out.

Watch for more and more of the music graphics to be added to the new merchandise. (I want to convert more music graphics for black/dark use as well.)

I've been working long and hard on some new music stuff. "Gold" bass cleves - on black (or red), and on much of the rest of CafePress's merchandise. Some new novelty bass cleves - "glass", RGB Noise (labeled "Noiz"), a "silver" bass clef with a shadow shown... These are also on black (or red), plus on most other CafePress merch. This is a good way to let you see the music black shirts. Good old "Blog this."

First off, hope you're enjoying the Holiday Season, and my apologies at being away for so long!

Would you believe I've been too busy making new music graphics and merchandise? There's truth to that.

The CafePress black shirts turned out to be more beta than any of us had expected. But, the production kinks have been smoothed out, and I have become aware of what works well according to the CafePress black shirt production, and what doesn't. I've been keeping a very close eye on the situation (along with putting in my two cents in along the way, at no surprise to anyone who knows me).

Please notice the black tee cleves added and notice the brand-new musical-instrument black tees. The trombone and the trumpet have just been added in "brass" and other colors. There's new pianos and new guitars. Don't miss "Pianos Gone Wild" - for all you tigers longing for a jaguar, you cool cats. I felt compelled to put a twist on the piano ivories (elephant tusks) and made them out of elephant skin instead. A little surreal.

More and more music black tees will be coming.

With my next posting I'll show you what's new on the not-black tee side of the store's Music Stuff. More new instruments, including - getting a little wild and surreal again - the Tiger Rag Musical Instruments (why stop with Tiger Rag Piano?). But, there's still more than that...

Stevie performed his brand-new single "Shelter in the Rain" on CNN today. Stevie said he felt this song was given him by God. It is about God being one's shelter in the storms of life. It's a lovely song sung by a talented musician with a wonderful voice. I found it inspiring. Thank you, Stevie! Yet another good song from you. And a song especially needed for our times.
